Before you start, make sure that you actually have a microphone on your computer. If you do not have a microphone, your can either buy one or depending on your specific hardware you may have to get professional advice on how to attach a microphone to your PC. We are basing this tutorial on the assumption that you have a working microphone or other recording source connected with your computer, or that your computer has a built in microphone, that you know to be in working order.

• As mentioned above, simply click on More... -> From Microphone or Line-in.
• You should see a new window open now, that allows you to select an input source. You make have one source or several. Select the appropriate one for your recording source.
• When you are ready to record, simply press on "Start Recording" and the recording will start.
• When you are happy and have finished recording, You can click on "Stop Recording" and then on "Finish".
